More K-9 would be great but then that would make it look like we have a drug problem in Louisville. If you need a dog on a stop immediately ask for one on the radio and tell them if there is no answer have one page out at the beginning of the stop, not at the end like most of the ofc, have been doing. I have found that most of the K-9 handlers are more then happy to come out and help. I believe there is 4 dogs assigned to a shift now with the dead time of 5;30am-10:30am. Just my opinion these don't reflect the view of our department, that would make to much senses.
