Metro officer wounds robbery suspect during chase

That is truly the most insulting comment I've ever heard. The Corrections officer may not know much about the street, but I guarantee you know nothing about the jail, either. I've never been corrections, but I did do jail inspections for several years, when I was with the sheriff's office (yes, that is the job of the sheriff) and I was appalled at the conditions inside the old jail. I have been within the secured area of the new jail just within the last 60 days, and it isn't much better now - they really are bulging at the seams. You'd be astounded at the conditions withing JCYC, also - kids sleeping on the floor.

You only have to deal with them for a short time, corrections has to deal with them all day, every day.
