Former Metro Corrections employees sue again

Well let's face something else too, it takes pure COURAGE to make a career out of either profession. It also takes pure courage to serve your country during a time of war. Any individual willing to exercise those options in life should have a equal opportunity to be hired by any police department. Now an applicant that only goes to "college", doesn't serve their country, and it's willing to first work in an environment where at least 98% of the people you will deal with are "proven" criminals doesn't deserve anymore of chance to apply for a police department than the next person. I've seen some of the PD recruits before I left the Jail, and I've worked with enough of them at this point to be able to say that education will never be an equal substitute for COURAGE & COMMON SENSE!!! I will always be proud to have worked in the Jail, graduated college, and served my country; and I'm not the only one that can say that.
