Well it would be fine to have LMPD staff the sallyport, but you would need at least 2 officers, because it's not safe for one office to open the gate with 10 men in there and the other with 10 women.....

I think Corrections should staff it with 2 officers on OT, it would be cheaper than LMPD.

But in 30 years you would think something would change..but nope!

the same old same old with Jerry at the helm......Fixing the booking process should be one of the top priorities of LMDC, Mayor and Metro Council.......

if it were a drop and go, I WOULD LOCK UP COUNTLESS MORE PEOPLE! The city would collect WAYYYYYY more in booking fees. Every person I work with lets people go EVERY DAY......because they don't want to wait at the book.

I bet arrest would increase 500% or more if the jail was a drop and go.

LMDC is a Metro Government agency, but the way this city operates is like every dept. in Metro government are seperate companies. If I take a prisoner to jail with a laceration that needs stitches...The jail should take the prisoner and then take them to get stitches or get an in house doctor to do it. The jail refuses to accept injured people from LMPD, a METRO GOVERNMENT AGENCY... Don't get me started on jail phone call recordings......more property of Metro government, but LMDC thinks different.... But this is all policy stuff and I PROMISE I LOVE AND RESPECT EVERY CORRECTIONS OFFICER TOO!!!!!!!!!!!
