I actually read the complaint, it is poorly drafted, to say it nicely. I can't believe an attorney wrote it, it is almost incomprehensible. But ... that doesn't mean it won't go somewhere. The video looks bad. I predict the city will remove it to federal court and then try to get summary judgment and dismissal. The statute of limitation is troublesome, it's a 1 year for a 1983 case or a personal injury state lawsuit, 2 years for a property damage, not sure how they'll count this type of case.

But the video doesn't look good, but that doesn't mean it can't be defended.
