Are you going to do a write-up about the FOP endorsing Councilman Heiner in the mayoral race? I know the Communist-Journal has nothing on it, but the Heiner website does have a press release out on the endorsement that happened this morning at 10:00am.

dont worry dallas, bob will have your crime rate as low as it has been in years in only 6 months!!! Oh, the crime will be the same ( or worse) but the reported rate will be much much lower, and after all, isn't that what's importeant?!

The word is out! Dallas is promoting from within. We will never know how much Bob could screw up that department. Surely there is some city out there looking for someone to screw up their police department. Keep looking, Bob!

thank goddness chief white is not leaving for dallas police. hopefully he will clean out the lmpd before he leaves to bigger and better places.

Man somebody call the Whhaaambulance... I never read a law enforcement site with so many whiners! if you hate being a police officer here so much, why do you not just go apply somewhere else and move there. I am sure that with some of the individual's mentality here, you would be able to find a nice cushy job in Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Boston, etc. Oh thats right, there you might actually do some real poilce work, instead of just whining about how you hate your chief, your job is so hard, your take home cars, the citizens you serve, etc. I chose to retire here because the cost of living is low and someone told that the force here was dedicated and forthright, obviously that must have been at another time. I am so glad that I retired, because the caliber of officers nowadays, man my class instructors would have had both feet all up inside you. Oh and btw, remember the job is both a privilege and a responsibility, when you stop believing that and see it as an entitlement and "I Police, You Stupid Civilian who is bothering me" go sell used cars because you are worthless as a cop.
