If you want to vent, it would be better to vent in a more private forum. I vent about my job all the time, but I sure wouldn't do it where members of the public who pay my salary (yes, I'm a government employee) can read it. Actually, many LMPD don't pay their own salaries, since most police costs come from property taxes - so if you don't live in Jefferson County, no, you don't. (And if you live in the old City of Louisville, you pay about 3X as much as those who live in the rest of the county.)
