Uhhh, and your po-po friends don't have family, etc.? I know cops that have never even talked to family members about the problems, usually because they assume said family members understand the problems. TRUST ME - THEY DON'T!!!! One co-worker who has a brother who is LMPD (patrol officer, former county) has never once mentioned any problems with the department at any famly gathering - you guys have to explain, and not assume, in a rational manner, why, for example, take-home cars are a good deal
