OK, I agree that is the case (although I am not a cop, I'm a state employee, and I too am expected to stop and assist since I drive a "marked car" - and would do so even in my personal car). However, if this is in fact the case, why in h*ll aren't you DOING SOMETHING about it. DOCUMENT IT, and grieve it, don't complain about it. IF YOU STOP AND CALL IT IN, and then get reprimanded for being late, GRIEVE IT. You have that option, and you even have attorneys that will help you with the process. But
