Maybe they should have Triple Tased him! Glad it appears that the officers are okay. I wonder why the guy did this. I can assume he had mental issues or he was cracked out or maybe both. Who knows. He chose his fate and the good guys defended themselves. Way to take care of business guys. I am SURE you would have rather had this end another way but you apparently had no choice.

Good thing this didn't happen in Louisville or the taxpayers would have to pay the family an outrageous amount of money and John "I'm a drunk" Boel would have to spin another story against LMPD.

It's always should of, could of, would of with stuff like this. Who cares?! The crazy guy armed with a rifle is dead and the streets are a little bit safer now. Glad the officers went home safe!

We will probably never hear about this again. Why? Because the ever lovin' liberal media doesn't rule the roost outside of Jefferson County. That is why Abramson won't fair very well once they try and gather votes. All he can do for Brashear is teach him how to steal taxpayer money better.

Lots of Brandon's involved. I'm Brandon, this is my brother Brandon, and this is my other brother Brandon.

I hope the coroner doesn't conclude that he really wasn't struck with any rounds, but actually died of excited delirium from hearing the rounds whizz past his cranium. If that's the case some lawyer will get an expert from 1,000 miles away to come in and say the officers murdered that man.

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6 is what I learned over 15 years ago. Too bad bob white is the chief and bows to Fat Head jerry.. This admin. really has the majority of officers second guess anymore. Some have not won the battle against evil while bob was watch commander. WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
On a side note; I ran into a certain Lt. during the last week or so regarding inspections. Didn't take long to remember why he garnered so much respect. SO MUCH RESPECT to the point that he was feared by others and demoted for giving motivation to the troops. (The definition of garnered is "to acquire by effort").
However, we have back-peddled with our morale while those in charge continue to be asinine. (Definition 1 of asinine : extremely or utterly foolish OR 2 : of, relating to, or resembling an ***. Some commanders around here attempt to preach an "expected effort" , but acquire nothing other than malcontent and disrespect from the troops.
Obviously you scared the others in command. Thanks for being real T. D.
