Absolutely! Although I am retired now, I still invest in regular trips to the range and work out in the dojo at least twice a week. Can't count how many times I heard brother and sister officers say they were not going to the range or dojo unless they were paid for their time and equipment/ammo was supplied. It was (and still is) my opinion that if we are to be taken as professionals then we need to put forth the effort of a professional to maintain our "fit to fight" condition and stay on top of
