Did you guys that are complaining train here in Louisville or Richmond? I can speak for the JCPD side and say it used to be a lot harder. Ask anyone that went through "Hell Week" and had to fight Weedman, Houghton, McConnell etc. That was rough. What exactly would you like to see training do? What should Basic do to make it better and easier? Please let them know. Most of the injuries come from basic tasks like running etc...not from fighting. As far as InService it is not easy to come up with classes every year. Some folks complain when they come up for training because they dont think they need it. Some people worry about when lunch is...how long lunch is...and what time are they going home. We should all keep learning on this job. We try to make things interesting and different for you. If you have any ideas for training please share. We do the best we can with what we are given. We sent out emails asking for ideas and training you all would like to see and got very few responses. Tell us what you want and we will try to get it for you.

Also...I think all the "barefoot ninjas" are gone now. Some may have a different opinion but when we lost Adam Houghton this dept lost a lot! Once again just my humble opinion.

Stay safe!
