Deputy receives Medal of Valor

Amen. Seems like everyone on here crying about training or equipment can't seem to realize that you have to pay your own on some things. Not everything is given to you. Secure job, no threat of layoffs. Go ask the guys at ford if that company buys them pants, shirts, or other things they need to break their backs on the assembly line. What do we get like 2000 dollars a year for that stuff and equipment. And if we tear it up in the line of duty we get it back eventually. As far as training goes I agree with a previous post that mentioned that many of our recruits come in having never been in any type of altercation. By the way people have gotten injured in training for years even before merger. No one in training is purposely trying to hurt anyone.
