Deputy receives Medal of Valor

Im not a SWAT member and they hired me. They go through stand up fighting with Mike Bogan. Last time I watched Bogan gives them a few shots just to see how they handle it. HE is not malicious to any recruit. All of us have gone through that. What good does it do to put a guy or gal on the street who will get hit once and give up. Its part of the training and trust me we are not that hard on them. Training is not as tough as it was back before merger (both depts not just my old one) but it has to be a little hard. If you really think they are being mistreated come out and watch what goes on. It is not that bad and what you may consider to be rough is good for them in the long run. JUst my humble opinion. If you think otherwise be nice in your reply. Im sure the Basic Training staff would agree with me. Nothing is done without the greater good of the recruit and the department.
