I can agree that it was stupid to leave obvious clues to her identity, but the only significant question should be whether or not it hampered her ability to do her job (which I would bet that it didn't). Unfortunately it seems like if you have any job connected to the police in this city then you have to be prepared to be readily sacrificed for the "city" to save face...

Another thing that bothers me is how nearly everyone can find some level of entertainment from her commentary (or similar commentary on commonplace stupidity) and enjoy laughing at what she "tweeted" yet stand by as she ,the commentator, gets hanged.

It's funnny how politicians believe they can remove the civil liberties of employees. Speech is speech. If it's within my freedoms to comment on something to the person sitting next to me, then how does the convenience of technology change that freedom.

Why is it automatically assumed that she is wrong when she makes derogatory comments about some of the rediculous calls that our 911 system gets? If she were to Twitter her heartfelt pain over the tradgedies that come into 911, would she be viewed differently?

Obviously, our private media would have a cow if they were censured over any issue. It appears that the Coolaid drinkers need the rest of us to think like them as well, and they will try to punish us if we leave a trail of bread crumbs proving otherwise.

I remember a taped emergency call I heard on Bob and Tom, where a man hit a deer, put the deer in his car, was attacked by the deer, and then got trapped by a dog in the phone booth that he was making the 911 call from. Sorry Coolaid'rs, that was the funniest thing I ever heard and countless thousands feel the same way. This is public information. If we want to cry, laugh, scream, or get disgusted at what comes into that system, then it is our right of opinion to do so.

Careful people,... It's a very slippery slope to give certain citizens all the speech they want, yet restrict others. Maybe this just pisses the media off, because we also have access to the masses via the internet. Am I the only person that feels ill watching the media constantly touting themselves as heros. Does speech reguire a license? It might if they have it their way. I find myself glad that the young lady in question has access to lots of people, regardless of what her message is. I love how she has demonstrated to the media, that they are not the only ones that have a voice. I love that her message cannot be censured by the elected officials she works for or media editors.

How many people are disgusted with the half truths and propaganda we hear within the Private Media, yet they lean on there freedom of the press rights to stimulate debate and public awareness. They enjoy picking a fight. Thats how they sell papers and broadcast time. At least this young lady wasnt lying about what she was hearing. If only our media could be so honest.

Why should we hide some of the rediculous predicaments people get themselves into? How often does the media demand copies of not only 911 calls, but also radio transmissions of emergency personel? The Media does the same thing everyday, but they can broadcast it to our TV's and radios. We cant. Thank God for platforms like this very site, where people without press conferences or broadcast studios can challenge mass media and officials

Elected officials are always concerned about how subordinates will make them look. They strive to appear to be everything to everybody. Appointed personel maintain there positions by not doing anything to dilute that illusion, but the rest of us dont live or die by the next election, and we didnt waive our Constitutional rights when we were hired. I would love for more people to visit this site. As long as the comments are truthfull, it becomes a great resource for people to hear more truth than propaganda. Do you think they'll look for my bread crumbs too?
