Unfortunately no, he doesn't need a "refresh" - he needs training on it if he is going to take this sort of action. Corrections officers don't get any training on street response, because it isn't part of their job description. They have the authority but NOT the training to do this sort of thing. Their training is what, 8 weeks, now?
