Mayoral candidate, Police Chief debate LMPD's leadership approach

When I left last year not one person, other than my fellow platoon officers, asked me to stay, why I was leaving, told me good bye, dont let the door hit you, go to hell, anything, you get the picture. They dont care, they dont want to care and the one poster was right- officers today are not getting trained the right way and are getting themselves in volved in things that are gonna hang them bad one day. Now dont take that the wrong way, the ones I worked with and met seemed like good people with good intentions, but more time in a class room than training on the street is not good. This admin does not want to hear how bad they have screwed things up and wont listen to the people who know the most out here, the beat officers. Sorry all you C.O.s but its true. Listen to your officers.
