first off, the 'screening' was a comedic approach to all the variables unknown to us as officers when dealing with someone who is out of control - but we are still held accountable for all of these unknowns. That being said, diabetes was included because lawyers would have us be held responsible even in cases of hyper/hypo glycemia or lack of use of insulin that resulted in some type of situation in which we are called to, and must react to. To the point - if someone were tazed, had pre-existing diabetic conditions and died after being tazed, I would be sued for everything I have. You may have delved to deeply into something that was just intended to make you think and laugh at the same time. I look for signs of diabetes all the time, especially on traffic stops as blood sugar variances in folks with diabetes can very closely mimic the behavior of a suspected DUI driver. I have never heard of anyone anywhere being "anti-diabetec" so I think you are safe !
