RE: Police Change Taser Policy
After having to use an escalation of force I often replay the event in my head and question if I did the right thing. I soon realize I did right and the perpetrator actually made the choice, but the stress is still there. I hope others that were not there will judge my response appropriate. If you have a sergeant that is articulate and literate, stress can be relieved. Use of force is stressful enough, without having to deal with a sergeant that can't articulate on an AIR only doubles the stress. A sergeant that is a capable or ?creative? writer can make the difference if a use of force goes to PSU. The previous comment is not mine. This is my first post. PS: the taser is not a precise weapon; it has two projectiles and a moving target. It would not be hard to explain why a probe hit a perp in the chest.
RE: Police Change Taser Policy
Where did the OP say anything about lying on an AIR? Good god i've had to write up numerous AIRs and being able to word things in the right way will only help. Get off your high horse.
