Sorry for the length of this post but worth the reading. As of the day before Ironman she has not went to IA. She was served with her 48 hour notice, that is all. You cannot be compelled to come in on your off time to give a statement. Ask anyone who has worked late watch. So by calling in sick she AVOIDS the call to go to PSU. She is playing a game. If I hold out and not show up to work then they can't talk to me. The other side of this is you are only required to be home while off sick during your normal duty hours. In short she can keep getting doctor's note and stretch this out for year long increments. But where she f*****d up is she is claiming to have blood clots in her legs. So if you see her on her bike take pictures, can't ride a motorcycle if your legs are bad. Hell you can't even walk right. I am just waiting for someone in PSU to get off the " no show BS court case" and check with HR to see if she turned in a list of medicines she is supposed to when you are still operating a departmental vehicle. Do you think she is driving a POV to the doctor's. If you don't believe she is playing the I'm sick game, then look at her mentor Mike Canteen. He came back from Iraq, never set foot in the district, went from late watch to day work to a spot that was never posted. The story I've heard is he claimed that his feet were messed up in Iraq and required surgery. I am ex-military and say B******T! When ever I came off active duty and went back to reserve status you had to claim any injuries. If you had any then you were not discharged until corrected to keep you from filing a claim later for disability. So he either lied to the military when discharged or is lying to us now. He was given notice to talk to PSU about Hollins**t and refused to come in because he is off on sick time. He forgot about the " make yourself available to the chief's office" clause in policy. He was ordered to the chief's office where he made a spectacle demanding to see the chief because he didn't think it could be done. He had to sit for 2 hours then when the chief finally showed Canteen the had to give a statement to PSU. It will Take 3 months to translate from Canteeneese. So Hollings**t is just following in the well worn path of others that get a pass on this department. Hope for the best(bal*s in the prosecutors office, PSU devoting time to actual misconduct) prepare for the worst (the chief seeing the light in his last months---NOT) but don't hold your breath brothers and sisters were are blue enough.
