WTF! It should not have taken a direct order from the chief for him to get ready to go in to PSU. A 48 hr notice is a direct order to go in once the date is set. He should be facing dept violations for refusing to go in. And for him not coming to the door to get the notice. Per policy he was to be at his home during his shift if he is off sick unless he notified his CO that he was going to be elsewhere so if he was not at home during this time that is another violation. He is needs to go also.
