No more Jerry in 2011?
Fox 41 News has confirmed that Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson intends to run for lieutenant governor with Governor Steve Beshear in 2011.
Monday at 9 a.m. at the Berry Hill Mansion in Frankfort, Ky., Beshear will announce his intention of running for re-election as governor of Kentucky.
Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson will be his running mate.
Beshear issued a press release saying, "Jerry is a leader of stature who has a proven record of accomplishment, particularly in economic development. He has worked tirelessly on behalf of the state's largest city. Now he intends to do the same on behalf of the entire state."
Abramson will finish out his term as Mayor and plans to travel across Kentucky to get feedback from the state on ways to improve state government.
