Again, we are dispatched to scenes. Most often when there is "police violence and maltreatment", drugs, alcohol, and domestic violence are the root of the problem which caused an officer to be dispatched. (I bet the percentage is close to 100%.) So, we are there to solve a problem that is way bigger than our ability fix and actually out of our control to begin with. We never created that problem. But we do get to go home and get away from it. Safety is first.

Here's a thought you can't disagree with. All members of society went to some type of pre-school or kindergarten. There we all learned three rules to avoid dealing with policemen in a "bad way". 1) Keep your hands to yourself. 2) If it isn't yours, don't touch it. 3) Treat each other with respect. Therefore, you merely need to rely on basic early childhood education to avoid negative encounters with police. (Or anyone for that matter.) Even the ever-impressive GED isn't needed for this concept to be understood. If not fully understood then I suggest that people stay in school, and do not continue to breed.

I have a few tactical ideas which will insure safety for the public also. 1) Pull over when stopped. 2) Don't pull weapons on us. 3) Don't run away. 4) Show us your hands. 5) Remain calm. 6) Don't flex up to fight. If all people would do these things, violence will not erupt. Control your own destiny.

Additionally, some further ways to avoid these situations where police usually have to get involved. 1) Pay your child support. 2) Stay out of stolen cars. 3) Don't sell drugs. 4) Don't use drugs. 5) Don't rob people or places. 6) Don't break in to things. 7) Don't drink and drive. 8) Don't beat your spouse. 9) Take your meds as prescribed. 10) Go to work every day. Sounds like an easy way to put me out of work. Go ahead society....do all of these things and I'll head off to the beach. Alas, I have no doubt that my job will be secure.
