What would you like the city to do as far as these renegade police drivers? Maybe we could have a rep from the mayors office ride with us at all times, or maybe you could just volunteer to monitor us 24 hours a day. How does that sound? Maybe we could have devices put in the cars that limit them to 55mph. Help us help ourselves since we obviously are so out of control.

Of all Emergency First Responder personnel, cops are the worst drivers of the bunch. That's because they think they OWN the roads. They speed, they tailgate, they disregard the right of way of other drivers. If they got their lights and sirens on then it's Katie Bar the Door. There's no limit to how fast they'll go. Even in oncoming lanes. Get the hell out of the way, they're coming thru. If they're busting a red light, they MIGHT tap their brakes. All other emergency dept.'s have a limit on how much over the posted speed limit they can go when responding to emergencies, and they have to come to a COMPLETE stop at red lights. Obviously there's no such requirements for the cops. No wonder they're involved in so many "Accidents?" And then their buddies show up to investigate. Can you guess who is usually in the wrong?

Cops work either a 8 or 10 hour shift depending on where you work. Out of a 40 hour work week I would estimate 30 of the 40 hours are spent in a car or driving a car. Fire/EMS sit at post until they get a run. Now I wonder why cops are in more traffic collisions than Fire/Ems....
