wah wah wah....To bad 90% of the drivers on the road can't figure out how to get out of the way of an emergency driver. Oh golly gee that car behind me has it's lights and sirens on we should just stop here in front of it. And i'm sorry but all other emergency dept DO NOT have a limit on how fast you can drive over the speed limit. And since you obviously have no clue about kentucky state law here's a little knowledge for you...

KRS 189.940 Exemptions from traffic regulations.

(1) The speed limitations set forth in the Kentucky Revised Statutes do not apply to emergency vehicles:

(a) When responding to emergency calls; or

(b) To police vehicles when in pursuit of an actual or suspected violator of the law; or

(c) To ambulances when transporting a patient to medical care facilities; and

(d) The driver thereof is giving the warning required by subsection (5)(a) and (b) of this section.

I only really want to take issue w/ the "their buddies show up to investigate" bit. You need to look into things before you go making asinine statements. The LMPD officer that investigated Jason Brown (since fired) found the officer AT FAULT. The officer that worked the Measle wreck (this article is about him) ALSO found the officer at fault. Doesn't sound too much like a "buddy system" to me. Officers on this department do have integrity and do honest jobs, and as much as it may sound salacious and dramatic on the news to act like "their own" investigate them, you should probably look at the number of these LMPD officers that find their fellow officers at fault when it is appropriate and quit talking out of your ***

and am I the only sane citizen in this whole d*** city? of course cops get in more wrecks than the average person. They drive for 8-10 hours a day five or more days a week. Statistically speaking alone, they are going to have more accidents. Some of you people that post here need to read a book or go back to school or something. You've done lost your logical reasoning or something
