Ok, I will line out where my numbers came from. Car payment only $200. Since I was driving over the road, I didnt have a personal vehicle before, even though I was on my employers insurance, so they treated me like an uninsured motorist coming to them for the first time and gouged me. another $200 a month for me and my wife. I drive 30 miles to and from work, and have at times had to pay $80 per week. Then we have the incidentals, including maintenance on my older car.

200 + 200 + 320 = oh will you look at that, I was wrong, its only 720 per month.

Now as cops you have the option of getting greatly reduced or free living costs from apartment complexes, you have the option of working (sometimes involving sleeping with the car running and lights on) for cash overtime.

All in all, Id say you are spoiled because many of you have no idea what living in the real world can be like because you have so much provided for you either free or at reduced costs.

I never said that cops made the highest salaries, and in many cases, like truckers can argue that they too are underpaid for some of the work they are required to do. That doesnt excuse the indictments and entitlements that cops seem to feel they falsely earn, and also notice no one throwing around that fake claim about "laying their lives on the line every day" since I shot that whole thing out of the water.
