Ok.... I usually do not post on here. I usually just shake my head and chuckle at the civil wars that go on. If you pay attention and do your research into this video you will see that this is no where near a "black and white" issue. The driver is actually the white guy. The gentleman in the back of the ambulance giving patient care is the black one.

So for the one who is on here bashing the police for being "cowards" and hiding behind their badge as bullies (just to quickly sum up what you have been putting on here), you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. I do not say this as one with a badge trying to defend myself or my fellow brothers and sisters. In fact, I AM an LMEMS employee. I have relatives including my father who are on LMPD and have been in the trenches for years. The video you show here with the trooper is a VERY isolated incident.

Now, I have had my run ins with the young gung-hole police officers that think they are above the rest because of the badge on their shirt. I have gone toe to toe with officers who think CIT patients should go to the hospital in the back of an ambulance only to be sat and looked at all the way down to University when the ambulance could be out there responding to people who really could use our interventions. On the other hand I have seen our LMEMS employees that truely have in their head that they are the right hand of god out here saving everyone they encounter. All the services have their bad apples.

We need to come together and form an unpenetrable bond to make sure ALL OF US go home to our families at night. Lets all come together as public safety employees and realize that we all just simply have a different role in the SAME EXACT fight.
