I am confused... I am not sure of anytime that we HAVE NOT escorted ambulances when the crews advise us of a room 9. In fact, in my division at leaast, one or two officers will clear a path for out brother/sister EMT/paramedic crews anytime they tell us there will be a subject going to room 9. As for the EMT injuries, he was stabbed in the abdomen... until he got to the hospital nobody knew if it was going to be life threatening or not.
