The number of "beggars" is increasing at an alarming rate. There is not one place in this city where the likelyhood of being approached is non-existent. At some locations I believe they work shifts. The last time I was downtown, no sooner had I gotten out of my car and here comes a bum wanting a handout. I usually dismiss their request and continue on. No more.
