I have NO issues with any group contributing to their own funds to honor members of their occupation. I have a problem when they demand tax dollars to fund their efforts. i have a problem with governments being used to provide services to any particular occupation and not to all, especially when false information is used to establish the action. You apparently think that police demand money for supporting heroes. Get your stories straight.
