Nice speech, but exactly what assumptions have I misrepresented as facts?

I have no problem with you blowing off steam, but stop doing it at society's expense. Wait, instead of blowing off steam in a manner differently than everyone else, heres a thought, IF you cant handle the steam and blow it off in a normal manner which is not at someones expense, then maybe the job isnt right for you.

When your occupation screws up, its in the limelight...get over yourself, you say these things like youre the only one. I have lawyers advertising against my profession JUST because of the sensationalism and the ignorance of the true fact that 75% of the time, truckers are NOT at fault, but because were a truck were a target.

You want a thank you from the public? When is the last time you thanked a trucker? It goes both ways. The way I see it, it would be nice to have people appreciate us, but you dont see us trying to whine and use it as an excuse to misbehave.

Why not just admit what your gimmick is velcro? Smoke and mirrors to distract from the fact that your department doesnt have the integrity to stand up to its own mission and values statement. You dont mess with me because its fun, or because it accomplishes anything, you do it because you have NO excuse for yourselves. Playing hero, demanding the city worship you as if you really laid your lives on the line, demanding the city provide you with privileges that arent earned, calling the mayor outon things that you are every bit as guilty of, smoke and mirrors, thats all you got.
