(6) The legislative body of any county or city may exempt from the provisions of this section any vehicle used for investigatory purposes.

Please read this section again... Our "unmarked" vehicles are still involved in investigations, be they traffic investigations, narcotics, homicide, etc... FYI

What I said, The MARKED UNITS are the ones being held accountable. While the unmarked get to slide by, If I stated unmarked are not charged that was a typo.

EVERY time it comes up about a unit passing by without stopping it is a MARKED UNIT.
