Also something to consider... Abramson and White keep claiming that they were counting on $2 million from the officers paying for their cars ($500,000 this year and $1.4 million next year). Does no one question why 1/10 of the supposed $20 million budget shortfall should fall on the shoulders of only 1100 Metro employees/citizens otherwise known as police officers? Seems to me that's a little lopsided.
