Task force to focus on violent crimes.

People are their own closest line of defense. If you are sitting back and expecting the police department to defend you, then you are in for a BIG surprise should you become the target of a criminal.

The government's first responsibility is to protect the people. I think somebody has dropped the ball. Give police the tools to do their job!
