I never said they were less important or did less work. They have different responsiblities then the beat officer. I was in traffic prior to merger. I know what the bosses wanted. They wanted stats from tickets. They wanted us to take care of the accidents on the expressway, sometimes even on the surface street if we had time. BUT TICKETS WERE THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE., slow people down so they don't crash or kill someone. Now please "educate" me on what they do outside of above. OH, they also work
