Two arrested in Jeffersonville Police shooting

So, is their condition stable or serious? At the end of paragraph 5 it says "Both men were listed in stable condition at University Hospital Friday morning.", and the last paragraph of the article says they are in serious condition.....

To the families of Corporal Lawhorn and Officer Broady.

Most of us here in Louisville never met your loved ones, but rest assured they are our Brothers. When you come over here to Louisville you will see that you are part of the largest family network around.

You now can begin to understand why we have organizations like Supporting Heroes, Shield of Faith and our own FOP Auxilliary's "Officer Relief Fund". There isn't a day that goes by that we do not pray that this type of incident doesn't happen again and in the future and thank God that it didn't happen on our shifts today when we get off work.

The decision that Dan and Keith made to be protectors of society and to put themselves in harms way has been costly both physically and emotionally for their families. Both will recover thank God and both will return to work in order to continue to protect our society and our freedom from the scum that would seek to tear the fabric of society apart with their unlawfull actions.

We are prayig for you and for Dan Keith.

It's very sad that a ridiculous statement made by an ignorant "trucker" can produce a running commentary that goes on for a hundred or more posts. Then when a story about two heroes gets posted on a site that is visited every day by several hundred fellow officers, after three days there are a meager 8 posts giving words of praise and or encouragement. I am truly ashamed by this. To both of the wounded officers, bless you both for the sacrifice you made and may God's healing hands bring you to a fast and full recovery. May God watch over you and your families and bring you through these difficult times.

Good job C.P.D. and the two officers that were hurt, you bring respect and noblity to this job and help make the rest of us look good. God Bless and a speedy recovery.

Did anyone notice that the Mayor of Jeffersonville gave credit to off duty take home cars as part of the quick response. Our stupida$$ Mayor would never A.) Grieve for our injuries/death, B.) State a program such as take home cars helped in anything. This is two times adjoining goverments have cited take home cars as a benefit.

1.J-town, off duty helped in a bank robbery.

2. Jeffersonville, Off duty take home cars helped two officers shot!

I hope both guys come out okay. The showing of support is great to see,

As the son of a retired LEO and a Soldier, I know all to well that the loss or injury of one of your brothers/sisters is hard to deal with and even harder to understand. To the families of the officers that were shot I extend my deepest sympathy and pray that the men who did this are brought to justice to full extent of the law. I would also like to leave the families with this:

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose." Roman 8:28
