Very noce article. I tend to agree with you that people often wonder why cops are so abrupt. We have become desensitized over the years. It takes concious effort on a daily basis, sometimes hourly for me not to lapse into that person that has turned everyone else away, again. I love my job but I also realize what it has cost me over the years. I hope it was worth it.
