No, it doesn't, the law doesn't say that. READ IT. I know cops that drive 100 miles one way to get to work. Firefighters had that provision, but not cops, because the statute says they can't be required to live in a particular place. (But nothing says they can't "prefer" you to live in county, and many do.) Interesting, though, I know people that are very disappointed in Bullitt County schools.
