I personally would love to see us adopt the other police departments rules that allow them to drive out of their jurisdiction. I would gladly pay $100 a month to drive to a home out of county like J-town is allowed to do. There is obviously a convenience factor of having a take home instead of switching gear out everyday. IF the city were half way interested in having officers with high morale perhaps they should think about things like this instead of making it so clear that they care absolutely
