for what it's worth, I'm a citizen (member of the public, community, whatever) and I think the previous fees were ridiculous enough, let alone the new higher fees. It has been beaten to death, but at the same time, I can see why you guys are so p!ssed off and bitter about it. The situation aggravates me. The vast majority's ignorance and stupidity and willingess to believe whatever the mayor/chief/media says is absolutely unnerving... and my income isn't even being directly effected by this. So basically, I can only imagine how you guys feel. I do think karma will catch up to all the villains in this story.. don't know how long it'll take, but I have faith we'll get to see it happen.

Yeah, well, the public cant have it all now can they. I think it is stupid that anyone would pay money on a car they don't own. I go to work each day to make money. I like the job I do but I am not there for free and I am not going to pay to do my job either. No wonder there is all the bickering and low morale. What do cops make? about $20 per hour. Not like their making the big bucks. I would speculate that most are there to make a difference and actually CARE about people. I really dont think this whole issue is as much about the cars as it is they really see that the Lou Metro Gov could care less. Just a big slap in the face. While Jerry is decorating the city and loading his business partners pockets, the entity that keeps law and order is having every ounce of dignity pulled from them. I feel sorry for these cops.
