Personally, I think that due to the apparent fact that a police vehicle parked in a residential neighborhood cannot help but serve as a deterrant to potential crime, Louisville government should see this as a worthwhile investment in the safety of its citizens and not as something of a convenience to its police officers. Granted, free gas, insurance, and maintenance are a huge plus to anyone operating a "company" vehicle......it shouldnt be something that a city employee should have to pay for.
