Doesn't anybody in the media think to ask about lower gas prices? These fees were initially instated because gas was over $4 a gallon and it was costing the city x amount of dollars. It's been below $2 for months and yet we are now being asked to pay MORE for the car fee. So now, they are saving x amount of dollars from lower gas prices AND getting x amount of EXTRA dollars from us with this raised fee. You don't have to be a genius to know this just simply doesn't add up.
