Officers given 7 days to decide on take home cars

I moved out to Bullitt County and it was the best decision ever. The schools are sooo much better. Face it JCP schools are not very good unless you can get into Male, Manual or Butler. As far as the law in Ky, it says an officer may live anywhere they want as long as it is 25 miles from the courthouse as a crow flies. The law does not state which court house so it can be 25 miles from any of the courthouses in Jefferson County (Outer Loop, Dixie Hwy etc) I know this due to pre merger days (oh how I miss those days) the Commisioners passed an ordinance that Jeffersn County new hires had to live in the county with an exemption to Police due to this State Law. My advice is move out of Louisville, its the land of milk honey!!!!
