Officers given 7 days to decide on take home cars |
RE: Officers given 7 days to decide on take home cars
That may not be the case here presently but if anyone from the old city side remembers, if you chose not to live in Jefferson county then it was tough beans for you as far as a take home was concerned. Don't get me wrong, I am totally happy for coppers now that live out of county and have been given the opportunity to drive it to the county line but I think some folks might have become a little spoiled. When I built my house 5 years ago, I made a conscious decision to build in Jefferson county for the specific reason of keeping my take home. Now, if the decision goes against us in February, the chief and the mayor can keep the car cause I'll be taking my money home. The bottom line for me and I hope for the majority of officers is that I will not keep paying more and more for this so called privilege to make up for the mistakes of a failed political vision.
