You should have fought for a good raise all along? You can't take the car with you when you retire, however your retirement pay will be substantially less because you chose to keep a car that's not even in the contract and fore-go a decent raise. Once you give up something, i.e. good raise, you'll never get it back! Remember that your raise is compounded yearly, it adds up quickly when you vote on a bulls_ _ t contract! When you retire, you won't have the fancy car to drive around in with all the cool police lights, just a sh_ _ _ y retirement!
