Nashville Officers have take home cars with restrictions of to and from work and off duty jobs run through the Department! I have a friend at Nashville Pd and I asked about their policy of take home cars!

This guy has an EXCELLENT point. Lets give hizonner the mayor his cars back and fight for a $7000/yr pay raise in the next contract. The time to start is NOW. $7000/yr would STILL leave us behind KSP, but we would be able to see them then. It would go a long way toward buying personal cars, helping the local economy... We buy our own cars the city spends less money on gas... Sounds like everybody would be a winner if the police got a decent salary.
