I'll bet he is throwing another hissy fit tonight because his injunction to steal money from the police officers was DENIED!

Maybe I missed it but where are they going to move Crimes Against Children Unit to? How about 1st division HALO, or Flex? The two latter cannot move to the district...there is no room there for them. How much money will it cost to move these units? Heck, what about EMS??? Where do they now go? The downtown development people like having the substation there because it usually means there are several police nearby. Wonder what they think of all this???

What kills me is that we got 3 quarter million dollars to fund half the entertainment projects around louisville if not all them, but vital lifesaving services that are generated by hardworking taxpayers is cut short because of Jerrys shortfall, how is this even an issue? PUBLIC SAFETY should be absolutely #1 in any citys budget? How can funding the Center City Project and 4th st live be vital to PUBLC SAFETY??? JERRY WAKE THE F *K up and smell the aroma of A major shortfall and furlough my A$$, I dont even work for the gov and this really dont directly affect me but what the hell is going on here? GIVE IT UP AND RETIRE WITH YOUR MILLIONS!!! Lets get Kelly in here to run the show again... City is requesting 620 million for the stimilus from Barack it just said on the news on Whas11... Look at the name on the check..it is made out to the Cordish Company. He stated last month that no prjects would go forward that they haven't broken ground on. LIAR!

Now we know why he wouldn't let them build the "much needed stadium" there, he had other plans for that area all along! Does he always get his way? He had to have been planning this for years. How much money did we waste on studies of where the stadium would be, when all along he knew exactly where it was going to go and what he was going to do with the Water Co land...

Ok, I looked in the C-J this morning but I could not find this articleor anything similar. Are the editors of the C_J bi-polar or what? One day they post pieces slamming Abramson and the next there is nothing.

Examine this article and picture carefully. Abramson spends 12.5 million dollars and the check is made out to Cordish? He is aquiring land with our tax dollars and they are the ones that get to keep it for 149 years? Does the term CROOKED pop up in anyone else's mind?

Weren't we told that there would be no more expenditures and that all projects that haven't broken ground including Center City would be put on the back burner?

Why haven't we heard from the Council about this yet? What about the AG? When is he going to step in and say something about Abramson selling and giving away valuable resources that are owned, bought and paid for by taxpayer dollars?

I know I am not the only one that feels this way. It is n't about the cars. It never was. It is about Abramson and his Lordly ways. IT is about a corrupt politician that is strangling our community.

How many other developers get finacial packaged like cordish to build retail centers? Why is it that all his dirty dealings are done at ur expense?

So Abramson can spend 12.5 million more on property that he has already given away for 149 years to his Cordish Cronies yet here we are in 2009 without a unified radio system that he promissed so long ago. I still cannot talk to people 1 beat over because they are in the urban division and I am in a suburban division. I have not idea what is going on over there unless it is something major, because that is the only things they broadcast on all channels.

Basically, I am using old Jefferson County Police Equipment and others a few blocks away are using old Louisville City Police equipment because 6 years after merger and an unending sting of broken promises and timelines we (the Police) are still working off the same old two radio systems we were before merger. WOW WHAT PROGRESS!

Screw you Jerry Abramson. You are a thief and a liar. You have no idea what is going on in this town. You only do things to make downtown look good and couldn't care less about the rest of the county. Why am I still paying for fire and garbage services if we are a Metro Community?

Interesting! Baltimore's mayor was indicted today on corruption charges. Appartenly, she also had some sweatheart deals with a DEVELOPER! Does this sound familiar to anyone? Birmingham mayor indicted, Baltimore mayor indicted, Louisville mayor.....................scared?
