I have to say that in 16 years on the police department I never put in for overtime when I was off duty and helping someone. I just thought it was a part of having a car. Is this something new? Is it because they are wanting us to pay now?

Thatr email and word of mouth didn't make it to my division. PUT IN FOR OT FROM OFF DUTY WORK. File a grievence, take them to court if they refuse to pay up.
