An Eventful 2008 Holiday Season

I quoted it directly from WHAS11's website, and yes you're right it has been corrected to say "they are on administrative leave". Approx. 10 mins. after I posted the quote on lmpd, the originally quoted title, "LMPD officers facing disciplinary action after shooting death of suspect", on WHAS11 was changed?

I just listened to the audio of the pursuit and all I can say is THANK GOD!!! As a veteran member of LPD and having been involved in a critical incident, I want to say GREAT JOB to all officers!!! Even though I knew the outcome prior to listening to the audio, my heart rate was up and i felt myself breath a huge sigh of relief when the words, "no officers injured" aired. To all my brothers and sisters..... STAY SAFE OUT HERE!!! We are all we have got. As usual, the men and women of this department stood strong and put an end to a violent crime spree.
