I was thinking the same thing. How much safer it would have been for our Officers had we had a helicopter to follow the suspect and report his direction and location. We no longer have one because the Chief and the Mayor sold the only working helicopter last year and the one that was wrecked is still sitting in Phoenix because Jerry cashed the insurance check and won't pay the company that repaired it so they won't turn it over.
